The Lettings Process

Letting a property can be a real headache for those who have already busy lives, hectic schedules and all the strains of modern life. It can be really difficult trying to find reliable and trustworthy people to let and manage your property.

Here at Arrange A Viewing we pride ourselves in delivering a professional service that takes the strain away from the Landlord. With the help of our expert lettings staff you can make the most from your property with the minimum of fuss.

Once the property has been viewed and terms of tenancy agreed, an offer can be accepted subject to references, all of which are paid for by the tenant.

Then it is just a case of a Holding Deposit being paid and References initiated. These references include (but are not limited to), employer, previous landlord, accountant, mortgage provider and any other parties deemed necessary. A full Credit Check is also undertaken.

Once references have been collected they can then be reviewed by Arrange A Viewing and the Landlord. If the tenant is considered suitable, the contract can be signed; deposit, one month’s rent and any administration charges paid. A Check In inventory can then be undertaken, with all utilities changed into the tenant’s name.

At the end of the tenancy, a Check-out inventory is also undertaken.
